The Avery Boardman Story

Avery Boardman has long been a fixture of the New York design scene, and is currently one of the tenants of the famed New York Design Center.

We began our business as the first company to provide designers with custom sleep sofas that could be tailored to any style or taste.  Nearly 50 years later, we're still told that no one does it better.

Today our highly skilled frame makers and upholsterers are producing furniture for nearly every room in the house, from sofas and sectionals, chairs and ottomans, to storage beds and dining banquettes.

Whether you find us in New York at the New York Design Center or at the Mart in Chicago, you'll be greeted by a knowledgeable team who will help you ask all the right questions regarding cushion fills, arm heights, seat depth and more until we understand every subtlety of your client’s personal comfort.
